Want to get together with friends to create something new, but also want the freedom to do your own thing? Join us for an Open Art Night at Small Batch Kitchen. Held every other Thursday, starting July 7th, 2022 from 5 pm - 8 pm. Tickets are $15. Buy three or more for just $12 each. Tickets include: 1 kit from a selection of art discovery kits, or supplies to create your own mini canvas painting. Selections of kits include painting, felting, macrame, and more! General supplies like scissors, glue, etc. will be provided for use

Small Batch Kitchen was founded on July 8, 2014 and opened our storefront on Main Street in July 2019. Join us for a big birthday celebration. July 26th

6pm-8pm

We will review infusing alcohol, simple syrups, and vinegar with fresh herbs, fruit, or vegetables. There will be many infusions to taste test, plus each participant will create and take home their very own infused vinegar. Space is limited. $40 per person

August 15th

6pm-8pm

We will review freezing all types of produce. We will also try several recipes made with previously frozen ingredients! Each participant will go home with a reusable silicone bag, perfect for freezing. Space is limited. $40 per person.

August 23rd

6pm-8pm

Local artist, Lori Crook, will walk through the basics of a unique painting medium - alcohol inks. Each participant will make their own 4x6 picture frame and a floral magnet to take home. Space is limited. $40 per person. 

August 30th

6pm-8pm

We will review three ways to pickle produce - quick pickles, canned pickles, and fermenting pickles. There will be plenty of recipes to taste test. After the discussion, each participant will create their own jar of quick pickles to take home and enjoy! A variety of local produce, herbs, and spices will be available for use. Space is limited. $40 per person.

September 7th

6pm-8pm

We will have an in depth conversation regarding the water bath canning process - including equipment needed, safety considerations, troubleshooting, and selecting a recipe. As a group, we will prep and cook a batch of salsa - taking it through the full canning process. Each participant will take home a jar of salsa at the end of the night. Space is limited. $40 per person.
